Starting with magazine collages, digitizing them, and transforming them into a functioning textile with AI assistance. This piece was you guessed it, assembled while watching The White Lotus on HBO. Inspired by the ignorance of a luxury vacay, and the cultures that may call it home. This textile features water bottle ads, Nigerian monkey hunters, high end jewelry motifs, and a kangaroo from my local zoo. We all wanna visit paradise, but there's always more than meets the eye.
AI is brought into the equation to analyze and blindly mirror the conversation of the appropriated imagery. Confuse me not!
