Did you see what I did there? Created in collaboration between myself and AI, here is a beautifully unique Hawaiian shirt. Starting with magazine collages, digitizing them, and transforming them into a functioning textile with AI assistance. This is the textile that founded it all.  After resurfacing an old designer ad from some magazine I tore it out of, I was immediately drawn to the sunset and said "I can make that a Hawaiian shirt." And so I did. After some trial and error, I think I have successfully created one of the most meta Hawaiian shirts in history. Featuring elements of water bottle ads, clippings of various skies, famous divas known for thier fauna, and a plant that was next to a mass grave during the Ebola outbreak. I think this experience fully encapsulates the ignorant fantasy of a five star resort.

AI is brought into the equation to analyze and blindly mirror the conversation of the appropriated imagery. Confuse me not! It took a lot of work to get me here, AI did not magically put this all together for me overnight. The design is all my own. These are made per order, so if you would rather see this textile printed on real silk, or would even like to buy fabric by the yard, reach out to me and we'll negotiate further details. Base material is 95% polyester, 5% spandex. Signature hidden on sleeve.
